Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the DirectHome website (directhome.com.sg) and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

DirectHome provides home upgrade management services in Singapore, including but not limited to home lift installation, stairlift installation, auto gate installation, roof waterproofing, staircase renovation, and swimming pool construction. All services are subject to site assessment, feasibility, and a separate service agreement.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations provided by DirectHome are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and exclude GST unless explicitly stated. Final pricing is confirmed in the service agreement after site assessment.

4. Site Assessments

Initial site assessments are provided free of charge and without obligation. By requesting a site assessment, you grant our team access to the relevant areas of your property for the purpose of evaluation and measurement.

5. Project Execution

Once a service agreement is signed and the initial payment received, we will commence work according to the agreed timeline. Timelines are estimates and may be affected by factors including weather, permit approvals, material availability, and site conditions. We will communicate any significant delays promptly.

6. Payment Terms

Payment schedules are specified in individual service agreements. Typical structure: deposit upon signing (10–30%), progress payments at defined milestones, and final payment upon completion and handover. Late payments may incur interest at 1.5% per month.

7. Warranty

All workmanship is warranted for a minimum of 12 months from completion unless otherwise specified. Equipment and materials carry manufacturer warranties as stated in the service agreement. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorised modifications, or normal wear and tear.

8. Cancellation

Cancellation terms are specified in individual service agreements. Generally, deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs after materials have been ordered or fabrication has commenced. We recommend discussing any concerns before signing the service agreement.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, designs, and logos — is the property of DirectHome and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

DirectHome shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
